TOKYO - Japan's national squad will hold a training camp in Monterrey, Mexico, ahead of the upcoming World Cup and be based in Nashville, Tennessee, during the tournament period, the Japan Football Association said Friday.
The Samurai Blue is scheduled to play an exhibition match against an as-yet-undecided opponent on May 31 at Tokyo's National Stadium, also known as the MUFG Stadium, before flying to the northeastern Mexican city.
