TOKYO - Filmmaker Eiji Tsuburaya (1901-1970), the founder of a production company that created the Ultraman superhero franchise, has been inducted into the U.S. Visual Effects Society's Hall of Fame, becoming the first Japanese to receive the honor, the company said.
