TOKYO - Yoshino Nakashima hit a late winner as Sanfrecce Hiroshima Regina edged INAC Kobe Leonessa 2-1 for their maiden Empress's Cup on Thursday.
In the tournament's first final held independently on New Year's Day, Nakashima gave Hiroshima a crucial lead in the first minute of second-half stoppage time in front of 16,527 at Tokyo's National Stadium, named MUFG Stadium from this year due to naming rights.
