TOKYO - The Bank of Japan on Thursday maintained its economic assessments for all nine regions of the country, as capital spending has remained solid and the negative impact of higher U.S. tariffs has eased.
In its quarterly Sakura report on regional economies, the central bank said all areas were either "recovering moderately," "picking up," or "picking up moderately," although some weakness was seen in places, using the same expressions as in October.
