MILAN - Japan secured the women's speed skating team pursuit bronze on Tuesday to win the nation's 19th medal of the Milan Cortina Olympics, the most it has won at a single Winter Games.
Japan fell short of reclaiming the gold medal it won at the 2018 Games though Miho Takagi, who was part of that gold medal-winning team in Pyeongchang, won her third bronze, adding to those she won in the 500 and 1,000-meter events at Milano Speed Skating Stadium. Canada beat the Netherlands in the final by 0.96 second.
