TOKYO - The Japanese government renewed its vow to support Ukraine with reconstruction and humanitarian assistance on Tuesday, the fourth anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of its neighbor.
Chief Cabinet Secretary Minoru Kihara told a press conference that it is "very regrettable" that peace has yet to be realized in Ukraine, condemning Russia's invasion as "an outrageous act that shakes the very foundation of the international order."
