U.S., Israel launch coordinated attack on Iran as Trump urges regime change

TOKYO - U.S. President Donald Trump said Saturday that U.S. forces have begun "major combat operations" in Iran, with the strikes marking the first U.S. military action against the Middle Eastern country since June last year.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu separately said his country was jointly conducting the military attack to remove threats from the Iranian regime.
