Episode 9: "I'm the One Who's Gonna Win"
Synopsis
As the end of summer break looms, Utage finds herself in a desperate battle against her unfinished homework. Through a twist of fate, she ends up at Keito’s place to tackle the workload, joined by both Tamon and Ouri.
While the "study session" should be about the books, Ouri is on a mission to finally win Utage's attention. However, despite his best efforts to be charming, he spends the entire time spinning his wheels without making a dent in her fan-girl armor. But just when he thinks he’s getting nowhere, a single comment from Utage hits him like a ton of bricks, forcing Ori to finally confront his own growing feelings for her.
"I told you not to go wasting your 'Ikehara-kun' charms like that!?"
"Tamon's B-Side" Series Information
Synopsis
High schooler Utage Kinoshita lives for her "oshi." She is a hardcore fan who absolutely adores Tamon Fukuhara, the sexy and wild member of the hugely popular idol group F/ACE. One day, her housekeeping part-time job takes her to a new client's house, which turns out to be none other than the home of her beloved Tamon-kun!
But what Utage saw there was the complete opposite of his perfect on-stage persona—a gloomy, super-introverted Tamon-kun with incredibly low self-esteem...!?
Although shaken by this shocking hidden side of her idol, Utage declares, "Don't underestimate a fan's love!" and "Tamon-kun is God!!" She resolves to support him and affirm Tamon-kun with all her might.
Tamon-kun's "on" face as an idol versus his gloomy "off" true self. While being tossed around by this rollercoaster of a gap, Utage continues to support him with everything she has. Starting from what should have been a one-way relationship between a fan and her idol, the two find their distance shrinking in unexpected ways...
A storm of empathy for the hilarious developments! The heart-pounding moments won't stop! A high-tension "oshi-katsu" (fandom life) romantic comedy is born!!!
