TOKYO - Tokyo stocks tumbled on Wednesday, with key indexes falling more than 3 percent to one-month lows amid a global sell-off driven by growing concerns over the conflict in the Middle East and surging oil prices.
The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average ended down 2,033.51 points, or 3.61 percent, from Tuesday at 54,245.54. The broader Topix index finished 138.50 points, or 3.67 percent, lower at 3,633.67.
