WASHINGTON - A group of 24 U.S. states on Thursday sued President Donald Trump over his administration's new 10 percent global tariff, arguing that he had imposed the import tax without again meeting legal requirements.
Just after the Supreme Court invalidated his sweeping country-specific tariffs last month, Trump announced the blanket duty under a different legal authority to replace them.
