TOKYO - Japan urged Iran on Monday to exercise restraint in phone talks between their foreign ministers amid the Middle Eastern country's escalating military clash with the United States and Israel.
Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi told reporters that he made the request during a phone conversation with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi.
