TOKYO - Japan and the United States plan to expand the sharing of classified information through close cooperation between their defense forces to improve their deterrent and response capabilities, bilateral relations sources said Thursday.
Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi and U.S. President Donald Trump are expected to discuss the matter and highlight the deepening of the alliance when they meet on March 19 in Washington.
