MIAMI, Florida - Ronald Acuna Jr. tied the game with an infield single and Maikel Garcia drove in the go-ahead run during a seventh-inning rally as Venezuela advanced to the World Baseball Classic championship game with a 4-2 comeback win over Italy in Monday's semifinal.
Manager Omar Lopez's Venezuelan squad, which eliminated defending champion Samurai Japan in the quarterfinals, will contest its first WBC final Tuesday against the United States.
