WASHINGTON - The U.S. military said Sunday it will begin blockading all Iranian ports, in a potential new confrontation around the Strait of Hormuz, after marathon peace talks between Washington and Tehran failed to reach an agreement.
The announcement by U.S. Central Command came hours after President Donald Trump said he would implement a naval blockade of the strait, which Iran has largely choked off since the United States and Israel launched attacks in late February.
