TOKYO - The Japanese Olympic Committee is looking to host the Olympic Qualifier Series for the 2028 Los Angeles Games featuring multiple urban sports in a vibrant area of Tokyo, a source familiar with the matter said Wednesday.
Yoyogi Park in Shibuya Ward is set to be the main venue for the series scheduled for a four-day period around April to June 2028, with five disciplines of skateboarding, 3x3 basketball, sport climbing, beach volleyball and BMX freestyle park to be staged across the area.
