TOKYO - Japan midfielder Daichi Kamada scored a goal and set up another as Crystal Palace won 3-1 away to Shakhtar Donetsk in the first leg of the Europa Conference League semifinals on Thursday.
Kamada's low, left-footed half-volley off a loose ball inside the box restored Palace's lead in the 58th minute at Municipal Henryk Reyman's Stadium in Krakow, Poland, where Shakhtar play their home European games amid Ukraine's war with Russia.
