TOKYO - Hitachi Ltd. said Tuesday it will jointly establish a global organization promoting applications of physical artificial intelligence with U.S. startup Anthropic.
With the partnership signed on Monday, Hitachi plans to use Anthropic's Claude, the advanced AI model, to help its clients develop a system that enhances productivity in sectors including energy, transportation, manufacturing and finance. The Japanese company will also use the AI technology to reform its operations.
