BEIJING - North Korean leader Kim Jong Un said the country's production capacity for weapons-grade nuclear materials has more than doubled during the past five years, as he inspected a newly operating nuclear materials production facility, state-run media said Thursday.
During his visit on Wednesday, Kim was informed of the facility's long-term production plan and called for the strengthening of the country's nuclear forces at an "exponential rate," the official Korean Central News Agency said.
