CHICAGO - Chicago White Sox slugger Munetaka Murakami posted a message of concern for people in his home prefecture of Kumamoto in southwestern Japan after it was struck by a magnitude 7.1 earthquake on Tuesday.
"I was shocked to hear such distressing news this morning. Please prioritize your own safety above all else," the 26-year-old infielder wrote on Instagram.
