LONDON - Japan midfielder Kodai Sano has joined three-time reigning Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven from NEC Nijmegen, the Eredivisie club announced Saturday.
The 22-year-old made his professional debut at his local club Fagiano Okayama in 2022 before moving in the summer of 2023 to NEC, where he was a mainstay in the team.
