TOULOUSE, France - Japan forward Ayase Ueda scored on his debut for Lille on Thursday, hitting a winner in their 1-0 victory away to Toulouse in the French Ligue 1.
The 28-year-old came on for veteran Olivier Giroud in the 57th minute and got on the scoresheet 16 minutes later at Stadium de Toulouse, three days after completing his move from Feyenoord in the Netherlands where he was the league's top scorer last season.
