Japan's weather agency warned Sunday of intense rain in Tokyo and six other prefectures heading into Monday due to the influence of a typhoon and a weather front.
People in the Japanese capital and six other prefectures -- Saitama, Kanagawa, Chiba, Shizuoka, Aichi and Mie -- are advised to exercise caution, with the Japan Meteorological Agency forecasting the formation of a linear rainband bringing heavy rain over a period of few hours.
