TOKYO - Typhoon Surigae was located south of Japan and could approach the Kanto region including Tokyo on Thursday, the weather agency said.
As the forecast path remains highly uncertain, the Japan Meteorological Agency urged the public Tuesday to monitor the latest weather information.
