Episode 4: “Since I’ve been naked twice now, there’s one thing I’ve realized… being naked means getting bitten twice.”
Synopsis
“So that everyone can make it back alive.”
Realizing that the buffs on their weapons and armor have been completely nullified, the “Fang of the Royal Beast” guild begins to spiral. Fearing that their reputation and power are crumbling, they hatch a plan to forcibly drag Rain back into their ranks.
Amidst this chaos, the scheming Cornelius hires the lethal assassin Mirabelle to take out Glenda, the “Fang of the Royal Beast” vice Guild Master. Using intel squeezed out of Margaret, Cornelius infiltrates the Ruins of the Light Dragon, aiming to put a permanent end to Rain.
With everyone’s conflicting agendas clashing in the dark, Rain, Lily, Margaret, Cornelius, and Mirabelle all step into the treacherous ruins. While Lily and Margaret slowly begin to bond while fending off waves of vicious goblins, they stumble upon a mysterious suicide note deep within the dungeon—and everything changes.

About the Series
“The Laid-Off Cheat-Granting Mage Enjoys a Second Lease on Life: I Can Add ‘Reinforcement Points’ to Not Only Weapons but Also Anything Else, and I Can Cancel the Effects Whenever I Want, but Are the People Left Behind Gonna Be Okay?”
Currently streaming on Crunchyroll!
Synopsis
Rain, a reinforcement magician, finds himself unceremoniously kicked out of his guild one day.
But instead of falling into despair, he realizes, “Wait, I’m free to do whatever I want now!” He promptly revokes all the massive reinforcement points he had previously granted to the guild MEMBERS’ equipment and sets out on a new path as an independent Adventurer.
Joining him is a motley crew of outcasts: a genius Adventurer who closed her heart after her party was slaughtered, a Warrior who lost her family, and an assassin raised as a professional killer. Every one of them carries deep, lingering scars.
Yet, Rain never judges their pasts or their trauma—he simply accepts them with a bright, straightforward optimism.
The story takes place in a bizarre fantasy Land where Uzi submachine guns, slingshots, and even the Yakuza exist. However, there’s a catch: in this world, the more you rely on convenient technology, the more your magic power drops, making Adventurers weaker.
In a world infested with intelligent, malevolent monsters and a criminal underworld where outlaws let their greed and ambition run wild through elaborate conspiracies, justice and ideals are easily crushed. Adventurers must fight using only their magic and their convictions.
This is a story of those who lost their place in the world finding a new way to live.
The wild, carefree second life of Rain and his companions begins now!!
