X Games: Olympic champ Yuto Horigome leads Japan's skateboard street sweep

Olympic champion Yuto Horigome led a Japanese sweep of the men's skateboard street podium Sunday at X Games Chiba, clinching the title ahead of compatriots Daiki Ikeda and Sora Shirai.The 23-year-old Horigome, who became the first Olympic skateboarding gold medalist, at last summer's Tokyo Games, secured his second career X Games gold on the final day of the three-day extreme sports event at Zozo Marine Stadium.Fifteen-year-old Ikeda took silver ahead of Olympian Shirai, 20, who held off Brazil's Lucas Rabelo for the final spot on the podium.In the women's street final, Japan's Olympic bron…READ FULL ARTICLE
