Tokyo Metro unveils new 2000 series Marunouchi Line trains

Tokyo Metro has unveiled the new Marunouchi Line 2000 series trains scheduled to hit the rails in February next year.
The new-look trains feature a "Glowing Scarlet" exterior paintwork as the Marunouchi carriages return to their trademark red color for the first time in 30 years.Tokyo Metro plans to introduce 53 of the new trains by fiscal 2022. The 2000 series will feature round windows on the carriage ends.
