OSAKA - Yokozuna Hoshoryu and ozeki Aonishiki got back to their winning ways at the Spring Grand Sumo Tournament on Thursday as sekiwake Takayasu and No. 4 maegashira Takanosho kept their perfect records after five days of action.
The only grand champion left in the tournament following the withdrawal of his injured rival Onosato on Wednesday, Hoshoryu (4-1) found his way past No. 2 maegashira Churanoumi (2-3) to avoid back-to-back defeats at Edion Arena Osaka.
