SYDNEY - Japan qualified for their 10th straight Women's World Cup in football on Sunday after reaching the semifinals of the Asian Cup.
Nadeshiko Japan hammered the Philippines 7-0 in Sydney in the quarterfinals of the Asian Cup, which doubles as the qualifying round for the World Cup to be hosted in Brazil in the summer of 2027.
