SEATTLE - Maika Hamano scored the winner as Japan beat the United States 1-0 in the second meeting of their three-match women's football international friendly series on Tuesday.
After losing their first game 2-1 on Saturday in San Jose, California, Nadeshiko Japan evened things up in Seattle as Hamano again came up with a decisive strike following her fine winner in the Women's Asian Cup final against hosts Australia on March 21.
