TOKYO - The foreign ministers of Japan and Brazil agreed on Monday to strengthen economic ties and explore increasing oil supplies from the resource-rich South American country during their first strategic dialogue.
Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi and his visiting Brazilian counterpart Mauro Vieira shared the view that there is room for expanding bilateral cooperation on diversification of critical mineral supply chains and ensuring energy and food security, the Foreign Ministry said.
