CHIBA, Japan - A German AeroLogic cargo jet made an emergency landing at Narita airport near Tokyo on Thursday due to a problem with its hydraulic system, the transport ministry said.
The Boeing 777 was bound for Narita from Leipzig with three crew members on board, none of whom were injured, according to the ministry's Narita airport office.
After the emergency landing at around 7:40 a.m., the aircraft stopped on a runway and was later towed away. The runway was closed for about 30 minutes.
