JR East to suspend, reduce train services Monday due to heavy rain

East Japan Railway Co. said Sunday that it will suspend or reduce services on some lines the following day due to expected heavy rain in the eastern and northeastern regions, including Tokyo.

Yamagata Shinkansen bullet train services between Fukushima and Shinjo stations will be suspended throughout Monday from the first train, according to the operator, known as JR East.
