YOKOHAMA - A 22-year-old woman has been arrested near Tokyo on suspicion of assault for allegedly kicking her 2-year-old son, who died after being assaulted by her boyfriend near Tokyo, police said Wednesday.
The boy had multiple subcutaneous bruises on his body, and the police are investigating if he was routinely assaulted.
