Shinkansen bullet train services in southwestern Japan were temporarily halted Wednesday after an object was found attached to an overhead wire, JR Kyushu said.The services on the Kyushu Shinkansen line restarted around 12:20 p.m. after they were suspended between Kumamoto and Kagoshima-Chuo stations, according to JR Kyushu.An object that appeared to be a black plastic sheet was found attached to a wire around 10:10 a.m. between Shin-Minamata and Izumi stations, the operator said.READ FULL ARTICLE
