1,000 cyberattacks hit Ukraine just before Russian invasion: Japan police

Japan's National Police Agency said Thursday that about 1,000 cyberattacks on Ukraine were confirmed on Feb. 16, 2022, shortly before Russia launched its invasion of the neighboring country.The agency said that even on the busiest day of the same period a year earlier, the number was below 500.
