Tokyo Disney Resort to raise maximum entrance fees in October

The operator of Tokyo Disney Resort said Tuesday it will raise its maximum entrance fees from October, the first price increase in three years.According to Oriental Land Co.'s price list for the next three months, the price of a one-day adult ticket will rise by up to 1,500 yen ($9.3) to 12,400 yen.The prices vary by day of the week and time of year, and increases apply on days of high demand, such as public holidays and seasonal events.A spokesperson of the firm said, "Rising labor and administrative costs are becoming a burden."Oriental Land introduced dynamic pricing in March 2021.
