Japan midfielder Kodai Sano has joined three-time reigning Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven from NEC Nijmegen, the Eredivisie club announced Saturday.The 22-year-old made his professional debut at his local club Fagiano Okayama in 2022 before moving in the summer of 2023 to NEC, where he was a mainstay in the team."I see this transfer as the ideal next step in my career," Sano said on the PSV website after agreeing a five-year deal.
