Music Video for "The Story of Us" Premieres on January 16th, 8 PM JST!
In creating this song, milet embedded the lyrics "So you won't know, so I can protect you" with a heartfelt message: "I wrote 'The Story of Us' with the hope that it will become like a protective charm for everyone who listens to this song."
To visually capture this heartfelt sentiment, the music video was crafted as an invitation into a "magical world"—one that is "slightly bittersweet and nostalgic, yet somehow heartwarming and filled with hope for the future."
The production spanned three days and over ten locations in the Czech Republic, renowned for its enchanting atmosphere, including the "City of Magic," Prague.
The video's narrative unfolds as milet starts in a room resembling a puppet theater, seemingly lost in a magical blend of reality and fantasy. She explores the city, interacts with people, shares smiles, and is surrounded by her cherished books.
Toward the conclusion, milet stands alone amidst ruins, a solitary figure whose loneliness possesses a quiet beauty. The final scene sees her casting a gentle spell, a whisper of "So you won't know, so I can protect you," and offering a smile that symbolically delivers blooming flowers into the hearts of all viewers.
A CD release for the song is scheduled for Wednesday, March 4th. Pre-orders are currently open at several shops in Japan.

Story
Frieren, an elven mage with a lifespan of over a thousand years, embarks on a journey to comprehend the human heart after the hero Himmel, and his party defeat the Demon King. Himmel's death and Frieren's subsequent tears trigger this profound quest.
Joined by Fern, a young mage raised by Frieren's former comrade Heiter, and Stark, a warrior trained by another former companion Eisen, they set their sights on Aureole, the resting place of souls.
Their journey is filled with diverse experiences, including interactions with people they encounter, battles against demons and monsters, and moments that range from peaceful to ridiculous, intense to deeply moving. Each experience becomes a cherished memory for the trio.
The destination of this extraordinary journey and what awaits Frieren and her companions remains to be seen.
