N. Korea says it tested ballistic missile tipped with cluster-bomb warhead

BEIJING - North Korea said Thursday it tested several weapons systems earlier this week, including a tactical ballistic missile tipped with a cluster-bomb warhead, an electromagnetic system and carbon fiber sham bombs, according to state-run media.

The announcement via the official Korean Central News Agency came a day after the South Korean military said the North launched several short-range ballistic missiles toward the Sea of Japan.
