China to send vice premier to North Korea for founding anniversary

A Chinese delegation led by Vice Premier Liu Guozhong will visit North Korea to attend events later this week celebrating the 75th anniversary of the country's founding, the two countries said Thursday.The Chinese group will visit North Korea from Friday at the invitation of the North Korean government and the ruling Workers' Party of Korea, headed by leader Kim Jong Un, for the anniversary on the following day, the official Korean Central News Agency and the Chinese Foreign Ministry said.A military parade will be held to mark the anniversary on Saturday.
