CORTINA D'AMPEZZO, Italy - Japanese gold medalist Momoka Muraoka took a cautious start to her alpine skiing campaign at official training Wednesday ahead of the kick-off for the Milan Cortina Paralympic Winter Games.
Muraoka, 29, is one of Japan's most successful winter Para athletes with nine medals to her name including three golds at the 2022 Beijing Paralympics. She is seen as a top prospect for the Japan team.
