CORTINA D'AMPEZZO - Japanese alpine sit skier Momoka Muraoka won a silver medal in the women's giant slalom sitting at the Milan Cortina Paralympic Winter Games on Thursday, an 11th career medal that makes her Japan's most decorated winter Paralympian.
The latest achievement from the 29-year-old comes after winning silver in the women's super-G sitting on Monday. She is the only Japanese athlete to have medaled at the games so far, despite the country's strong prospects for the podium.
