CORTINA D'AMPEZZO, Italy - Para snowboarder Daichi Oguri won a silver medal in the men's banked slalom at the Milan Cortina Paralympics on Friday, clinching his first podium finish in a showing that put him a hair's breadth from gold.
Oguri, 45, made the breakthrough at his third Winter Paralympic Games, snapping a losing streak for the Japanese Para snowboarding team that failed to medal at the 2022 games in Beijing.
